Confirm the product code and family
Start with the product code or direct product-page link and make sure the quotation refers to the same family shown in the catalogue. Generic category names can cause confusion when products look similar. If a family groups several sizes, colours or electrical options, confirm the exact variant on every quotation line. Two variants need separate quantities; a price for one size, voltage or colour should not be assumed to apply to another.
- Match every line to a product code or page.
- Separate each size, colour and electrical option.
- Mark unclear details as open questions.
Review model-specific specifications and the complete system
Check dimensions, selected voltage, colour or CCT, length, LED density, mounting method and other listed options for the actual model. Technical documents, packing information, IP rating, certification or performance details should be confirmed rather than inferred from a similar product. Review the application as one system: LED strips may require profiles, diffusers, drivers, connectors, clips and end caps; cabinet and mirror lighting may include touch switches, control boards or power components. Confirm that primary products and matching accessories are all present.
Compare quantities with the test plan
Separate showroom samples, installation samples and resale stock. A statement fixture may need one display unit, while compact repeatable products may need several units for market testing. Group quantities by application or sales purpose when the order covers more than one customer type. After the trial, record which models generated interest, which variants customers preferred and which systems were easiest to explain or install.
- Separate display, installation and resale quantities.
- Group quantities by application or buyer type.
- Use trial feedback to focus the next quotation.
Review customization and commercial information
Attach colour, size, CCT, logo or packaging requests to the correct product code and separate mandatory requirements from preferences. Only use confirmed technical wording, certification references or warranty text in private-label packaging. Check destination country, preferred currency, requested trade term, quantity basis and documentation notes. Exact price, packing, lead time and other conditions should reflect the final selected products and quantities. List every open question against the relevant quotation line before confirmation.
