Group the inquiry by application

Mixed-category sourcing can help a lighting distributor combine several customer needs in one buying plan. A single inquiry may include LED strips, aluminium profiles, ceiling lights, wall lights, outdoor fixtures, solar products, drivers and accessories. Begin with the market: state whether the products are for retail resale, wholesale distribution, a showroom, installers or a project, and share the destination country. Then divide the products into indoor general lighting, decorative lighting, cabinet or display lighting, and outdoor or solar lighting. This structure reveals missing components. A strip inquiry is clearer when its profile, diffuser, driver and accessories are considered together. An outdoor inquiry should state covered or exposed placement; a solar inquiry should describe the intended location and operating use.

  • State the destination country and buyer type.
  • Group items by indoor, decorative, strip/profile and outdoor use.
  • Include matching components and accessories.

Record the exact model, variant and quantity

For each item, include the product code or product-page link and then add the required size, colour, CCT, voltage or other available variant. Do not rely on a category name alone because similar-looking products can have different specifications, accessories or prices. Enter quantity at model and variant level. If the same model is needed in two colours or sizes, list each version separately. Distinguish mandatory requirements from preferences: destination voltage and installation dimensions may be fixed, while finish or packaging may be open to recommendation. YARLY can discuss OEM/ODM requests for colour, size, CCT, logo and packaging, subject to the selected model and order review.

  • Use a product code or direct product link.
  • List every variant and quantity separately.
  • Mark fixed requirements and flexible preferences.

Add commercial details and review before sending

Include destination country, expected quantity, preferred currency and requested trade term. For a trial order, identify which models are being tested and which categories may expand later. Exact price, packing, lead time, documentation and other terms should be confirmed for the actual models rather than assumed from a similar product. Before submitting the inquiry, check that every line contains a product code, selected variant and quantity. Confirm that matching drivers, profiles, diffusers, mounting items or accessories are included where required. Finally, add contact details so follow-up questions can be handled efficiently. YARLY Gold's application pages can help create the first shortlist, while the inquiry cart keeps selected products and quantities together for a model-specific export quotation.
